Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 24, 2026

Peña Tax & Services LLC ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit penataxandservices.com, fill out a form, book a call, or become a client, and how we use and protect that information.

Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly, including:

  • Your name, email address, and phone number when you submit a contact form or book a consultation.
  • Basic business information you share with us, such as entity type, industry, revenue range, and the questions or goals you describe in a form, quiz, or call.
  • Answers you provide through the on-site package recommendation quiz.
  • Scheduling details (date, time, time zone, and any notes) when you book a call through our embedded Calendly widget.
  • For active clients, the financial and tax documents you provide so we can deliver bookkeeping, tax preparation, and advisory services.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your inquiry and follow up about working together.
  • To schedule, prepare for, and conduct consultations.
  • To provide the services you've engaged us for, including bookkeeping, tax filing, and advisory work.
  • To send occasional service-related messages (appointment confirmations, deadline reminders, document requests).
  • To meet our own legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations.

Scheduling through Calendly

We use Calendly to handle consultation booking. When you schedule a call through our site, the information you enter is processed by Calendly on our behalf and is governed by Calendly's own privacy practices, available at calendly.com/privacy.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We share information only with service providers that help us run the business (for example, our scheduling, email, accounting, and document-handling tools), and only to the extent they need it to do their job. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

Cookies and analytics

Our site uses standard website analytics to understand how visitors find and use our pages (for example, which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, and roughly where they're located). This data is aggregated and used to improve the site. Cookies and similar technologies may be used for this purpose. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may not work as smoothly if you do.

How long we keep your information

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services and respond to your requests. Client records related to tax filings and bookkeeping are retained for the period required by applicable tax and legal recordkeeping rules (generally at least seven years for tax-related records). When information is no longer needed and we're not required to keep it, we delete or anonymize it.

How we protect your information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information you share with us, including secure document portals for sensitive client files. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

Your choices

You can ask us to update or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to records we're legally required to keep. To opt out of non-essential emails, use the unsubscribe link in any message or contact us directly.

Children

Our site and services are intended for business owners and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Updates to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
